Make Terrariums with Plants

Winter is the coldest season when we lack of sun in the yard, and we need something to cheer us up. This year, instead of the cloudy weather that upset you and bring you the grey mood, why not create your own mini-world full of lush and beautiful plants to brighten your day? So it will be a great idea to create your own terrarium with green plants. Green plants, for example, spiral grass plant, are the perfect solution for your grey days, since they will remind you of spring and summer when there are lots of greens. What’s more, the plants will help improve air quality in the room. You might think that the terrarium that could be hung with the plant pulley is difficult to pull off. However, as a matter fact, it is not, and it's really easy! Within just a few hours over the weekend, we could several terrariums, which are not only charming, but also perfect for your home or sent as gift to friends for decorating their houses.

Step 1: Prepare the container. Remove all price tags and stickers from your container, and wash it inside and outside completely with plain water.
Step 2: Layers. Once the container is ready, fill the bottom with stones or pebbles.
Step 3: Add activated carbon. You don't need activated carbon so much, since you should just cover the stones with a thin layer of the activated carbon, which will improve the quality in your little world including bacteria, fungi and odors.
Step 4: Add soil. Add enough soil so that the plant roots had enough space to grow. And it’s better to pick the plants with a depth slightly greater than the height of the pot.

Step 5: Plant it! Take the magic bean plant from the pot and break up hard soil ball until you reach the roots gently. You can also trim the roots if they are too long. Don't worry, they grow back. Use a spoon, or your fingers to dig a well to place the plants.
